For those that have been waiting for an official announcement about the Motorola Xoom’s prices, today is your lucky day. The first Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet will be priced at $799.99 off contract, and 599.99 on a 2-year contract, as announced by Verizon Wireless today.
According to BGR, the first 4G smartphone, the HTC Thunderbolt, will be released the 24th of February, which may very well be bad news to those expecting to have it by the 14th, which is what past rumors confirmed. If waiting ten more days to get the device is not a problem, the next news might be. The “PRICE” is not in caps just for excitement, but because a leaked image of what is supposed to be Best Buy’s internal website for the HTC Thunderbolt claims that this device will be priced at $749.99, which is a BIG number.
Last month, we saw a New Jersey citizen save his car from theft, thanks to an HTC Droid Incredible, and the device is definitely, once again, proving that it is well worthy of its name. John Garber, who works for National Parking as a valet at Halo Night Club, in Atlanta, can tell you that this “Incredible” device, saved his life from a gunshot while at work, on January 6th.
If you have been waiting to upgrade to a Smartphone, hopefully Android, right now is your perfect time. With the “Smartphones Talk Free” promotion from Verizon, you can now have a $9.99 monthly credit for 2 years, for every secondary (3rd line and above) Smartphone line added to your Family Plan, which is the price for additional lines with this carrier.
